Drumtastic Month Ahead
A busy drumming schedule beckons for the Gordon, Tom and drummers from all 3 Boghall corps. There are various events scheduled between September and October on the "Road to the Words" culminating with the RSPBA World Solo Drumming on Saturday 22nd October in Glasgow.
- Kicking things of on Saturday September 17th, Gordon will be competing in the All Ireland Solos in Dublin. This will be Gordon's first time playing in this prestigious event.
- On Saturday 8th October it's the turn of the youngsters and Boghall will have representation through their learner, novice and juvenile bands when Gordon and Tom take the youngsters to compete in the Jim Bird Memorial Solo Drumming event in Dumbarton.
- Boghall and Bathgate host their 3rd internal solo drumming event in the Bathgate Regal on Saturday 15th October. This event has been very successful over the past few years as a final run out for the "Big One"
- The "Big One", the World Solo Drumming Championship will take place on Saturday 22nd October in the Glasgow Caledonia University. Gordon as well as many of the Boghall players from all bands will be competing on the day. Please note: tickets are required for the Adult final and more details can be found at The RSPBA Website.

Boghall lift Cowal Championship and drum corps take Champion of Champions
The Grade 1 Boghall and Bathgate Calendonia band were crowned Cowal Champions on 28th August 2010, a brilliant achievement for the band.
The Drum Corps were crowned Champion of Champions for 2010.
